I am using a Linux based cloud hosting server (from Linode). I am running Nginx Server on it for live streams. I try to use it for more than 20 live streams.
The Linux cloud server which runs this Nginx has the below specifications:
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, 16GB: 6 CPU, 320GB Storage, 16GB RAM
The above specification seems good enough of a Linux machine. However, the Nginx is consuming ALL (100%) of the CPU Usage even with 6 CPU. I am facing a lot of issues due to this like:
- The dashboard shows 600% CPU Usage. (Even with this 6 CPU Machine)
- The Stream segments for HLS and DASH stop generating. So I can't see the streams.
Please help me solve this issue. Kindly let me know if I should provide more detailed information about this to debug the problem.
