Intermittent Nginx request not reaching tomcat upstream servers

Hi Team,

We are using Nginx as a reverse proxy to our tomcat upstream applications servers but some of the requests not reaching tomcat servers and didn't find anything in applications logs and that requests got timeout as per Nginx logs and in some case, application served response within set timeout parameters but still that requests show timeout in Nginx logs.

Please help, How we can fix these issues. Tried out Nginx upstream headers log format variables but didn't help.
